Our Mission
To provide innovative social enterprise means and expertise necessary for building an inclusive, green and equitable food secure and prosperous continent.
Our strategy
Our operational strategy at ACL focuses on medium scale farmer enterprises that are linked to smallholders in order to drive increased productivity and access to sustainable markets.
We achieve this by deploying our expertise, know how, financial support and networks and by linking both the small scale and medium scale farmers to global produce buyers using a farm land management model that is pegged to a revenue share model.
We have signed forward agreements with a number of global produce buyers and we seek to meet the supply demands of these produce buyers by linking them to stable supply lines.
Our values
At the core of ACL operations is a code of conduct that the board members, management team, employees and partners are expected to reflect. This code of conduct is informed by our corporate values which include the following: Quality, Trust, Win-win, Innovation, Integrity and Knowledge.
As an organisation, we have chosen to invest in:-
- Quality: We strive to deliver high quality results and a superior experience in all our engagements. As such, we hire high quality staff and engage with likeminded clients and partners that will work in partnership with us to deliver high quality results. That is our aspiration.
- Knowledge: We strive to be ahead of the game and knowledgeable in our field and to maintain a high level of relevant, high-tech, affordable and sustainable knowledge that can make a difference in our society.
- Win-win: We look out for win-win deals with all our clients and partners because we believe that it is these deals that we can leverage to drive sustainable development.
- Integrity: We believe in exhibiting integrity across the board. Integrity will be seen through our recruitments, our deployments and our infield supervision and in the way we report to our clients.
